Cellular & GNSS trackers
Helps locate powered vehicle trackers, including units that may be silent between position reports.
Find what is hiding on your vehicle — including powered GPS trackers that may be quiet when you search.
The K9-NFD-200 is a professional tracking device detector designed for close-range searches of cars, vans and interiors. It helps you move from “something may be nearby” to the place where a hidden device is actually concealed.
Many hidden trackers do not transmit continuously. A device may stay quiet for long periods and only send its position occasionally, which makes a normal radio search easy to miss.
The K9-NFD-200 looks for close-range electronic activity from the device itself. This gives you another way to search for a powered tracker even when it is not currently sending a location report.
The display monitors five detection bands at the same time. Rather than simply telling you that “something” is nearby, it helps you narrow the response down to the part of the vehicle or object you are checking.

Directional close-range searching for compatible Bluetooth tracking tags and similar short-range devices.
Additional detection channels help identify powered electronic devices concealed in vehicles, rooms, furniture and fittings.
The K9-NFD-200 uses two interchangeable sensor heads so the instrument can be adapted to the job in front of you rather than relying on one compromise probe.
A slim directional sensor designed for close searches around wheel arches, seats, trim, bumpers and other common hiding places. It is intended for both GPS tracking devices and Bluetooth tags.

Apple and Google unwanted-tracker alerts are useful and should be used. They can warn you about many supported Bluetooth tracking tags travelling with you.
But not every tracker is a Bluetooth tag. A cellular GPS tracker can report its position over the mobile network without appearing as a nearby Bluetooth device, and modified or non-standard trackers may not generate the alert you expect.
The K9-NFD-200 is designed for the physical search itself. As you move the sensor around the vehicle, the response helps you narrow the search down to the strongest location.
It is the difference between knowing a tracker may be nearby and working out where it is actually hidden.
The K9-NFD-200 is designed and developed by K9 Electronics in Northampton. It is our own instrument, built from our experience in RF detection, surveillance detection and specialist electronics.
We are not rebadging an imported detector. The hardware, software and user interface are being developed around the way the instrument will actually be used in vehicle and TSCM searches.
The sensor system is being developed around two styles of main unit. Choose the colour display when you want more visual information, or the analogue version when you prefer a simpler meter-and-headphones approach.
Shows all five detection bands together, with a live trace and clear level information to help you see changes as you move the sensor around the search area.
A planned simpler interface using a moving-coil meter and headphone monitoring. Intended for operators who prefer a direct visual and audible response without a colour screen. Final compatibility with the two-head platform will be confirmed before release.
Final specifications and supply configurations will be confirmed on release.
