Board & strategy meetings
Commercial strategy, financial performance, restructuring and other board-level discussions.
A boardroom does not need to be under suspicion before a TSCM inspection makes sense. Where the value of the information being discussed is high, a preventative sweep can be part of the security plan before the meeting begins.

Board meetings, negotiations and legal or strategic discussions can involve information whose premature disclosure would have commercial consequences. Pre-meeting TSCM focuses on the room and relevant surrounding environment before sensitive conversations take place.

M&A activity, contract negotiations, tenders, investor discussions and other commercially sensitive events.
Privileged meetings, dispute strategy, sensitive personnel matters and discussions requiring controlled access.
The inspection should be timed close enough to the meeting to reduce the opportunity for the environment to change afterwards. Access control, cleaners, contractors, catering, conferencing equipment and items brought into the room after the sweep all affect the value of the inspection.
A room can contain no covert listening device and still provide poor privacy. Speech may remain intelligible outside a door or partition, and authorised wireless signals may extend beyond the intended area. For higher-sensitivity meetings, a practical acoustic privacy and indicative RF leakage assessment can complement the TSCM sweep.
Bug Detectors UK provides engineering-led corporate TSCM in London, including planned pre-meeting inspections. Scope, access and timing should be agreed in advance, particularly where the room must be secured after the sweep.
